Clickabella!

Quick post today .... I wanted to share a card I made several weeks ago and sent off to a fellow card maker and blogger. She loves Bella stamps and obviously is online to chat with her stamping friends! :-) So I thought this card was perfect to thank her for her sweet comments and online friendship.I kept the layout simple and used some Copics to color it all in. Pretty basic, but I think she enjoyed getting this card in the mail ... which was the whole goal! :-)

Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Stamping Bella "Clickabella"
Ink: Memento; Copics
Paper: SU! Rose Red, White; PTI Spring Rain

Think Pink

Hi! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I joined a swap on SCS to celebrate the cause. Here's the card I made ...I really love the Hibiscus Burst and Aqua Mist from PTI with SU!'s Pink Pirouette - just so girly! I colored the Causabella image with Copics and kept the layout pretty simple. The Bazzill "Just the Edge" strips are so great - already punched out and ready to go.

Have to keep it short for today ... lots to accomplish this weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!

Limited Supply Bella

Hey y'all! I am doing some traveling this week and I can't not make cards for that long, so I decided to bring along some card kits that I got through some card kit swaps on Splitcoaststampers.com. It is almost like a Limited Supplies Challenge - I brought kits, white card stock, all my Copics, a couple of stamp sets that you can color with, a bag of colored card stock scraps, adhesive, scissors, and foam tape. That's it and that's all I have to work with! :-) Here's the first card I've made ...Please excuse my poor photo - I don't have much of an editing program on this laptop. I think this turned out really cute. The paper, sentiment, and image are from the kit. I colored the Bella, cut her out and stacked everything on a 4-1/4" square card. I happened to have enough of this Rose Red (by SU!) card stock and that scalloped black piece in my scrap stash with me to make this. Love it! The Bella and the sentiments were cut out and popped up on foam tape. It's hard to see in the photo, but I added some glitter with a Sakura pen around the edges of the sentiment and also on the girl's bags, etc.

I hope to post a few more limited supplies cards over the course of the week. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving comments - I really appreciate your visits and kind words! :-)

Clean & Simple Matilda

Howdy! I cannot believe tomorrow is Wednesday already! One of my fun-loving coworkers emailed me and stated "I hope you are enjoying your summer because its almost OVER!" Yea, thanks for reminding me! LOL

Anyway, a nice Splitcoast WRAK group member sent me some Stamping Bella Matilda Muffinbread images last week. I took a break from sewing yesterday to color a couple of images. I had intended to use the patterned paper on the funky flower in my previous post, but then I decided to just use polka dots! I actually really like this card and layout - nice and easy!I actually needed a couple of "flat" cards anyway. I sponsor a little girl named Liliana in Colombia through Compassion and they say you shouldn't send bulky mail since it can get caught up in customs etc. I thought she would like this cute little image - her birthday is next month - the same day as mine. I actually chose a child with my birthday so that I would always remember when it was. :-) I get letters and drawings from her several times a year, which is really fun. I think I've been sponsoring her for about 5 or 6 years now I think and its been neat to see her writing style, coloring skills, and penmanship improve as she has gotten older.

Anyway, I hope you are all having a great week! I am sooo jealous of those who are able to go to CHA in Orlando! One day I will be there!

Thanks for stopping by!

Daisybella

Here's a quick card for one of my monthly swaps. This Daisybella image is so cute. I added a sentiment from SU!'s Great Friend set. I colored her with Copics, added some ribbon and a bit of bling and here there you have it! :-) I don't know the maker of the patterned and green papers, but the pink is PTI Sweet Blush and the ribbon is SU! Certainly Celery grosgrain.I hope to be back later this weekend with some more cards - lots of ideas floating around in my mind ... just need some time! :-)

Happy Friday!
