Hi again ... so I mentioned previously in this post that I am showing off my "Happy Birthday to Papertrey" cards for their 3rd Anniversary contest. So, if you see this one first, please hit refresh on your browser to see what else I've had fun making today! :-)
This is my 4th card for the challenge and uses an image from Lisa Johnson. You can see her sample card and grab the digital image here.
As soon as I saw this image, I immediately thought "oval nesties!" LOL So, I dug out my nesties and Cuttlebug and cut out some ovals. I needed an in-between oval, so I freehanded one and then decided that a little distressing on the edges would make it seem less handcut! LOL
I used a 5" square kraft base on this one stamped with an medallion from Giga Guidlines in Chai ink just to add some texture. I also spritzed the whole card with Glimmer Mist. Love that stuff. In hindsight, I need a smaller flower, but its a little late for that now! Its pretty close to the idea that I had in my head. :-)
On to finish posting my cards! Thank you so much for stopping by and checking this one out! :-)
